Eight Wolves started when founder Shan Fontanilla discovered the world of pomade back in 2013. He started to sell imported pomades online, being an avid user himself. What started out a hobby of collecting different brands became a passion. Searching for the best pomade that will work for his hair in this hot and humid Philippine climated, Shan started to formulate his own brew in 2014. The first eighty-eight jars was released December that same year in the heart of Cubao City, at the THE Clothing store with a simple pop-up barbershop and pomade launch. All eighty-eight jars were sold out and that started it all for the brand.
Eight Wolves continued to do pop-up barbershops and participated in trade fairs the following year. Working with different lifestyle brands to promote the pomade culture and infusing the greaser lifestyle, the brand continues to create products that is proudly handcrafted and home brewed.
Our goal is simple, to stay true and traditional to the very essence of pomade culture. To continue to brew pomades that is made of high quality and best sourced out ingredients. To continue to work with local brands to promote local products, collaborate with local artists, to stay committed to our partner barbershops and resellers and spread the culture and lifestyle that will benefit the local community.
Our commitment to put out the best product that we can offer stays true to this day as we strive to stay traditional as best as we can and infuse it to the ever growing pomade community.
